The Forum Shopping Centre calls out for local musical talent to perform at Busk Stop launch event

On Saturday 12th July The Forum Shopping Centre in Sittingbourne will be launching its ‘Busk Stop’ by hosting a very special concert and is calling out to talented local acoustic musicians who wish to participate in the event.

The Forum’s Busk Stop launch will take place from 11am-4pm and the shopping centre is looking for a variety of classical and contemporary artists, from groups, bands or choirs to solo singers and beatboxers, to entertain the crowds.

Following the launch, the Busk Stop will be a permanent designated spot within The Forum Shopping Centre, where local acoustic musicians will be able to showcase their talent to the shoppers of Sittingbourne.

Francesca Donovan, Centre Manager of The Forum Shopping Centre, commented:

“We strive to give our shoppers something extra, and are delighted to be able to provide local performers with the opportunity to showcase their talents in a public forum.  We’re really excited to be launching our Busk Stop and would like to hear from a wide range of musical performers.”

Individuals and groups who would like to perform at the Busk Stop launch are encouraged to register their interest by emailing theforum@pmwcom.co.uk by Sunday 22nd June.  Artists are asked to include their name, email address, contact telephone number and details of their act, including a video clip or links to YouTube if possible.  There is no age limit for performers but children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
