This weekend Sittingbourne town centre was brought to life when it was filled with more than 30 artists during the annual Chalk It Up art festival.
Sittingbourne residents were treated to hundreds of different colourful chalk masterpieces displayed along the busy high street including an impressive piece on the pavement outside The Forum Shopping Centre.
The community shopping centre also hosted a range of artistic activities for children and shoppers to take part in including an exhibition showing chalk creations drawn by the festival’s many artists, as well as a free children’s chalk workshop, which encouraged local kids to get their creative juices flowing.
Monica Rana, Centre Manager of The Forum Shopping Centre, commented:
“I would like to thank the organisers of Chalk It Up for teaming up with us during the festival. It was a fantastic day and the creations were amazing!”
