Fit for a Queen
The Forum Shopping Centre helps spruce up Sittingbourne ahead of royal birthday
Throughout May The Forum Shopping Centre in Sittingbourne will be leading the way in encouraging the town’s residents to ‘Clean for the Queen’ as part of the new government initiative to help clean up the UK ahead of the Monarch’s 90th Birthday in June.
As part of the national campaign, The Forum Shopping Centre will be urging shoppers to keep Sittingbourne spick and span by ensuring rubbish is being thrown away in the designated bins and the areas surrounding the centre are of royal standards.
To help visitors remember to do their bit, The Forum Staff will be placing posters and signs around the centre and the management team will be on the lookout for local litterbugs.
Monica Rana, Centre Manager of The Forum Shopping Centre, commented:
‘We should all take pride in our town and ensure it’s clean and presentable. Here at The Forum we always encourage our shoppers to keep the centre tidy however this new campaign is a fantastic opportunity to remind visitors to be extra vigilant when throwing away their rubbish. I look forward to cleaning Sittingbourne for the Queen and I hope residents will join us by doing their bit.”
