Fang-tastic fun at Forum Shopping Centre’s Halloween Extravaganza

Sittingbourne shoppers were treated to a ‘fang-tastic’ event on Saturday 29th October as The Forum Shopping Centre hosted its free Halloween ‘Safe Trick or Treating’ event.

Throughout the day little shoppers and their families were invited to hunt around the centre searching for spooky themed posters in shop windows. Once they spotted a poster they were invited to pop inside the store and collect a free sweet treat from a member of staff.

A Creepy Crawly Roadshow added to the day’s Halloween activities and allowed children to get up close to a variety of weird and wonderful creatures including cockroaches, spiders, millipedes and snakes.

The centre also hosted a fancy dress competition which invited youngsters to dress up in their scariest outfits. The outfits were so fantastic that The Centre Manager, Monica Rana decided to present all the entrants with sweets and crown them all winners.

To finish off the community shopping centre’s Halloween spectacular, shoppers were treated to a Thriller flashmob from performers at Kent School of Performing Arts.

Monica commented:

“I would like to say a very big thank you to those who helped make our Halloween event as spectacular as it was. The Creepy Crawly Roadshow was a real hit with shoppers and of course the surprise appearance from Kent School of Performing Arts went down fantastically! We are proud to host regular events for the local community and we are now very much looking forward to hosting our upcoming Christmas festivities.”
