Free festive fun to welcome Santa to his grotto!

We’re delighted to be welcoming back Santa Claus to meet local children and listen to their Christmas wishes in his very own grotto.

The free grotto will launch on Saturday 24th November with a day of festive family fun including Christmas arts and crafts activities, and a face painter who will be turning young visitors into snowmen, reindeers, Christmas fairies, or anything they would like to be.

Additionally, local choirs will be singing carols and everyone is welcome to join in.

The fun then continues every Saturday in December until Saturday 22nd December when Father Christmas will be in his grotto between 11am and 3pm. Every child who visits will receive a festive treat.

Monica Rana, Centre Manager at The Forum Shopping Centre, commented: “The lead up to Christmas is such a magical time for children and I’m looking forward to welcoming Father Christmas to his grotto. We hope our fun-packed launch event will help everyone get into the festive spirit.”

Santa’s Grotto at The Forum Shopping Centre is free to visit and is open between 11am and 3pm every Saturday between Saturday 24th November and Saturday 22nd December.
