Kids’ get active at The Forum shopping centre
On Saturday 6th August, The Forum Shopping Centre joined forces with Demelza Hospice Care for Children to host a free, fun filled sports day for local kids to enjoy.
Children filled the centre from 11am taking part in mini obstacle courses including a ring toss, hoola hooping and balance tasks. Throughout the day, many children completed the challenges and were rewarded with their very own gold medals. Families were also treated to a charity tombola and raffle with a variety of children’s toys and puzzles up for grabs.
To add to the entertainment, kids could also create a special Brazilian headdress during the centre’s free workshop, plus Costa Coffee, which was celebrating its grand opening, were handing out free iced drinks to children who produced their gold medals.
