The Forum Shopping Centre helps Sittingbourne residents seek success with New Year’s Resolution Day
The Forum Shopping Centre in Sittingbourne was delighted to host a unique New Year’s Resolution Day for its shoppers on Saturday 10th January in order to aid the local community with their 2015 resolutions.
A number of community groups, fitness clubs and other local companies, including Orpheus Choral Society, Sittingbourne Swifts Gymnasium and Sittingbourne FC, visited the centre in order to speak to shoppers and hand out useful material about choosing goals and ambitions for 2015.
From successfully giving up smoking to taking up a new sport, the centre’s New Year’s Resolution Day was planned to take place deliberately before the notorious ‘Fail Friday’ on Friday 23rd January. This is the date when the majority of once firm New Year’s resolutions are most likely to be broken.
A study conducted with online shoppers on the website FreeDeliveryLand.co.uk revealed that only three per cent of people keep their resolutions for the full 12 months and that most have usually give up after three and a half weeks.
