S.M.I.L.E at The Forum Shopping Centre

The Forum Shopping Centre in Sittingbourne is delighted to announce that for the second year running it will be teaming up with local company Dementia Inspired to host S.M.I.L.E (Swale Memory Information and Living Well Event) in support of National Dementia Awareness Week.

The popular event aims to raise awareness of dementia and reduce the stigma surrounding the illness that affects over 850,000 people in the UK (1).

From 10am until 3pm, The Forum Shopping Centre will be filled with a variety of stalls and interactive displays to help local residents learn more about dementia in Swale.

Furthermore, there will be live music performed by Pete Brill and the ‘We Were There’ band, Yoga classes from Alex Thompson and a variety of dance workshops provided by The Right Step Dance Company.
