The Forum’s F.Hinds raises £187 for the Alzheimer’s Society following recent sci-fi raffle

F.Hinds in The Forum Shopping Centre, Sittingbourne, is delighted to announce that it raised a fantastic £187 for the Alzheimer’s Society following its recent sci-fi themed raffle. Shoppers were invited to enter the raffle throughout May in order to raise money for the centre’s chosen charity of the year and be in with the chance of winning a fun Dalek alarm clock worth £44.99.

The competition was hosted to coincide with The Forum’s Sci-Fi event last month, and F.Hinds was delighted to award the winner, Roger Crane, aged 65 from Sittingbourne, with his prize during a special ceremony held at the centre on Tuesday 2nd June.

In total, the centre’s Sci-Fi event raised a total of £667 for the Alzheimer’s Society, The Forum’s chosen charity of the year. All money generated from the event and its related activities will go towards continuing the charity’s outstanding work in Sittingbourne and its surrounding areas.

Rachel Jenman, Centre Manager of The Forum Shopping Centre, commented:

“We are delighted with the success of F.Hinds’ recent sci-fi raffle and are thrilled that the store has raised such a great amount for our charity of the year. I would like to congratulate Roger on winning his fantastic Dalek alarm clock and hope he enjoys his Doctor Who themed prize. Thank you to everyone who entered the fun raffle or visited our Sci-fi event and I look forward to announcing more exciting news from F.Hinds and our other shops soon.”

Rachel continued:

“I would also like to add a special thanks to Luniac Designs for their involvement with this year’s Sci-Fi event, as it could not have been such a success without their help.”
