On Saturday 31st October, children at The Forum Shopping Centre were treated to a range of frightfully spooky activities throughout the centre’s Halloween themed event.
Between 11am and 4pm, the centre’s little shoppers were able to take part in a Safe Trick of Treating event, which allowed them to hunt around the centre looking for Halloween themed posters in order to receive a delicious free sweet. The popular event is designed to give young children the thrill of trick or treating all while in a safe and secure environment.
As well as the Safe Trick or Treating event, the centre’s arts hub, Bourne Creatives, held a whole host of fun children’s workshops including pumpkin carving, face painting and ghost and monster designing in the week leading up to Halloween.
Monica Rana, Centre Manager of The Forum Shopping Centre, commented:
“We all enjoy hosting Halloween themed activities at The Forum as it’s great to see children get into the spirt of things and dress up as their favourite scary Halloween characters. Bourne Creatives’ events were extremely popular and some of the arts and crafts that were created by shoppers were absolutely fantastic. We are now looking forward to hosting our upcoming festive activities, which are sure to help shoppers get into the Christmas spirit.”
