Summer sorted at The Forum Shopping Centre

Every Saturday in the summer holidays visitors to The Forum Shopping Centre will be treated to a range of free entertainment including magicians, balloon modelling and carnival headdress making workshops.

To kick start The Forum’s summer entertainment on Saturday 30th July young Sittingbourne residents will be able to enjoy an extra special seaside themed weekend. Between 11am and 4pm families can expect to be thoroughly entertained by a Punch and Judy magic show, a free sun catcher workshop and a candy floss stand.

Continuing the free summer events programme, from 11am on Saturday 6th August The Forum will be teaming up with Demelza Hospice Care for Children to host a kids’ sports day full of fun mini challenges for children to take part in. There will also be a free headdress making workshop throughout the day in order to help youngsters celebrate the start of the 2016 games taking place in Rio.

On Saturday 13th August The Forum’s popular Superhero Saturday will be returning to the centre to offer shoppers the chance to meet two very special superheroes. Children will also have the chance to win a selection of goodies during the centre’s fancy dress competition, which invites kids to dress up in their best superhero outfit.

Roll up, roll up, for The Forum’s final Summer Saturday on 20th August where children can enjoy a circus themed afternoon full of special circus tricks, magicians and a free cupcake decorating stand. Young shoppers will also have the chance to be transformed into their favourite circus animal with the help of the centre’s face painter.
