Shoppers treated to monoprinting workshop at The Forum Shopping Centre
The Forum Shopping Centre in Sittingbourne is delighted to announce that it will be hosting a captivatingly creative event with an upcoming Collage & Monoprinting Workshop on Saturday 4th April.
From 10.30am until 2.30pm, visitors of all ages will be able to enjoy a fun monoprinting workshop courtesy of local art company, Weird and Wonderful Workshops. Those interested in attending will be able to find the workshop in the empty shop unit located between Trencher’s Café and Cancer Research.
Monoprinting is a unique form of printmaking that involves the use of images or lines that can only be used once, unlike standard printmaking. Each print made during the workshop will cost £1.00 per design. Whilst all shoppers are invited to attend the event, children under the age of ten must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Rachel Jenman, Centre Manager of The Forum Shopping Centre, commented:
“We can’t wait for the upcoming Collage & Monoprinting Workshop to take place. Not only a great way for local residents to engage with their creative sides, the event will also be a fantastic chance to try a rarer form of art - rather than the traditional painting or life drawing class. I encourage as many visitors as possible to try their hand at creating a monoprinting collage and look forward to seeing everyone’s finished designs from the day!”
