We kicked off our summer Wacky Weekends programme on Saturday 28th July.
A wide variety of free activities, including sporting games and hands-on craft sessions were available for young children to enjoy and the free fun will continue every Saturday up until 1st September.
We were also on hand to give out ice pops helping to keep visitors cool in the summer heatwave.
Monica Rana, Centre Manager, commented:
“Our Wacky Weekends programme got off to a great start and the activities were thoroughly enjoyed by our young visitors. We fully understand that keeping children active throughout the six-week school holiday can be difficult, so we look forward to welcoming them every Saturday for some free fun.
“As the current hot weather is scheduled to stick around for a while, we’ll also be giving out ice pops every day between midday and 1pm as a cooling treat for our visitors.”
